这是继《朱文一线上建筑中国》《朱文一线上建筑亚洲》《朱文一线上建筑欧洲》之后、该系列丛书的第4本《朱文一线上建筑非洲》。非洲一共有54个联合国成员国的国家，其中北非6国：埃及、苏丹、利比亚、突尼斯、阿尔及利亚、摩洛哥，东非11国：埃塞俄比亚、南苏丹、厄立特里亚、索马里、吉布提、肯尼亚、坦桑尼亚、乌干达、塞舌尔、卢旺达、布隆迪，中非8国：乍得、中非共和国、喀麦隆、赤道几内亚、加蓬、刚果（布）、刚果（金）、圣多美和普林西比，西非16国：毛里塔尼亚、塞内加尔、冈比亚、马里、布基纳法索、几内亚、几内亚比绍、佛得角、塞拉利昂、利比里亚、科特迪瓦、加纳、多哥、贝宁、尼日尔、尼日利亚，南非13国：博茨瓦纳、纳米比亚、安哥拉、南非、斯威士兰、莱索托、马达加斯加、马拉维、科摩罗、毛里求斯、莫桑比克、赞比亚、津巴布韦。

本书收录的59个建筑、城市、景观概念设计方案覆盖了所有54个非洲国家。我实地到访过的国家有8个。也就是说，有46个国家，我是通过线上游的方式探索、发掘进而构想和表达设计方案的。实际上，即使我到访过某一个国家，实地体验过的设计地点也非常少。

《朱文一线上建筑非洲》一书收录了主要是2025年完成的覆盖非54个国家的59个概念设计方案。按照时间先后可以分为3个时期：

第3时期（2025）收录了覆盖51个国家的55个设计作品，1个国家我完成了1个作品。这是我自2023年退休后、2025年2月至7月开展非洲国家线上游独自完成的建筑、城市、景观概念设计方案。这一时期，我称自己为线上建筑师。

第2时期（2021-2022）收录了2个国家的2个设计作品。自2021年后，我不再招收研究生，由此我开始了个人独自参加国际设计竞赛的经历。这一时期，我称自己为建竞者（Architecture Competitor）。3年期间总共完成的82个参赛作品的地点主要集中在欧美国家，其中有74个作品是我以建竞者身份完成的个人参赛作品，包括本书收录的2个地点在非洲国家的国际竞赛设计作品。

第1时期（2018-2019）收录2个国家的2个设计作品。这是我主持的朱文一工作室（ZHUWENYI Atelier）完成的国际设计竞赛参赛作品。在这一时期，我和研究生们合作完成了79个设计作品。本书收录了其中2个地点在非洲国家的设计作品。在此，感谢研究生们的辛勤付出。

有必要指出，2025年7月12日完成的作品“手机上的建筑”是线上建筑非洲54个设计方案的幻象。

本书的最后有6个附录，分别是朱文一著《线上建筑学理论》（2023）、《线上建筑》（2013-2023）、《线上建筑》（2023-2024）以及《朱文一线上建筑中国》（2013-2024）《朱文一线上建筑亚洲》（2015-2025）《朱文一线上建筑欧洲》（2025）6本书的简介。它们展示了我提出并探索线上建筑设计及其理论的过程。

追求无止境。这本《朱文一线上建筑非洲》（2025）排版完成时，《朱文一线上建筑亚太》的编辑和排版正在进行之中。

ZHU WENYI ONLINE+ARCHITECTURE IN AFRICA

This is the fourth book in the series of books, ZHU Wenyi Online Architecture in Africa, following ZHU Wenyi Online Architecture in China, ZHU Wenyi Online Architecture in Asia and ZHU Wenyi Online Architecture in Europe. There are a total of 54 countries in Africa that are member states of the United Nations, including 6 countries in North Africa: Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco; 11 countries in East Africa: Ethiopia, South Sudan, Eritrea, Somalia, Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Seychelles, Rwanda, Burundi; 8 countries in Central Africa: Chad, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (DRC), Sao Tome and Principe; 16 countries in West Africa: Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Sierra Leone, Liberia, C?te d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Niger, Nigeria; 13 countries in South Africa: Botswana, Namibia, Angola, South Africa, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Comoros, Mauritius, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
The 59 architectural, urban and landscape conceptual designs included in this book cover all 54 African countries. I have visited 8 countries in person. That is to say, there are 46 countries where I explored, discovered, conceived and drawing the design schemes through online tours. In fact, even if I have visited a country, there are very few design locations that I have experienced offline.
The book ZHU Wenyi Online Architecture in Africa contains 59 conceptual design proposals covering 54 African countries, mainly completed in 2025. It can be divided into three periods according to the time sequence:
The third period (2025) includes 55 design works covering 51 countries, and I completed 1 work in 1 country. This is the conceptual design schemes for architecture, city and landscape that I completed individually after retiring in 2023 and starting an online tour of African countries from February to July in 2025. During this period, I called myself an online architect.
The second period (2021-2022) includes 2 design works from 2 countries. Since 2021, I no longer recruit graduate students, and thus I began my experience of participating in international design competitions individually. During this period, I called myself an Architecture Competitor. A total of 82 entries completed during the three-year period were mainly concentrated in Europe and the United States, of which 74 were my solo entries completed as an Architecture Competitor, including 2 design works of international competitions in African countries included in this book.
The first period (2018-2019) includes 2 design works from 2 countries. These are the international design competition entries completed by the ZHUWENYI Atelier, which I chaired. During this period, I collaborated with graduate students to complete 79 design works. This book includes 2 design works in African countries. Here, I would like to thank the graduate students for their hard work.
It is important to note that the work "Architecture on Smartphone", completed on July 12, 2025, is a vision of the 54 design proposals of online architecture in Africa.
At the end of this book, There are 6 appendices at the end of this book, which are introductions to ZHU Wenyi's 6 books: Theory of Online Architecture (2023), Online Architecture (2013-2023), and ZHU Wenyi Online+Architecture in China (2013-2024), ZHU Wenyi Online+Architecture in Asia (2015-2025). and ZHU Wenyi Online+Architecture in Europe (2025). They show how I came up with and explored the process of online architectural design and its theories.
The pursuit is endless. When the formatting of this book ZHU Wenyi Online+Architecture in Africa (2025) was completed, the editing and typesetting of ZHU Wenyi Online+ Architecture in Asia Pacific is in progress.
