《朱文一线上建筑中国》（2013-2024）自序

先谈谈本书的书名“朱文一线上建筑中国”。考虑到行业领域对“线上建筑”存在不同理解，特别是英文语境中的“Online Architecture”（中文为在线架构），已经是计算机领域的常用术语。相关话题，我已在《线上建筑》（2023-2024）一书的自序中讨论清晰，在此不再赘述。我开启的宏观视野下的线上建筑系列丛书采用“朱文一线上建筑”（ZHU Wenyi Online +Architecture），表明这仅仅是本人理解的“线上建筑”，属于一家之言。希望以此避免对线上建筑这一词语的歧义和误读。顺便说一句，中文“建筑”还可以当成动词。
《朱文一线上建筑中国》一书总共收录了2013年至2024年完成的71个建筑、城市、景观概念设计作品。这些作品跨越10年，大致分为3个时期：
第3时期收录了2023年7至2024年8月期间完成的52个设计作品。它们覆盖中国31个省市自治区和港澳台地区。2023年6月，我退休后开启了中国建筑、城市、景观线上游。与实地线下游相比，线上游各地的空间，经历视频、图片和文字的“狂轰滥炸”，同样引人入胜；我沉醉在线上感受和发掘、构思和设计与表达不同地域空间特色的全新体验之中。独自一人日复一日的构思和表达设计作品几乎占据了退休生活的全部时间。这一时期直到今天，我称自己为线上建筑师。
第2时期收录了2021年至2023年5月期间完成的7个设计作品。自2021年后，我不再招收研究生，由此我开始了个人独自参加国际设计竞赛的经历。这一时期，我称自己为建竞者（Architecture Competitor）。3年期间总共完成的82个参赛作品的地点主要集中在欧美国家，其中有74个作品是我以建竞者身份完成的个人参赛作品，包括本书收录的7个地点在中国的国际竞赛设计作品。需要说明的是，我提交的参赛方案“大-屋顶”（Smart Roof）是韩国举办的Bcome 2022之申请釜山2030世博会国家馆第三届国际概念竞赛设计的中国馆方案。尽管地点在韩国，但这是中国馆设计方案，因此，它仍属于线上建筑中国的范畴。
第1时期收录了2013年至2020年期间完成的12个设计作品。这是我主持的朱文一工作室（ZHUWENYI Atelier）完成的设计作品，其中大部分是国际设计竞赛方案，地点大多在欧美国家。在这一时期，我和研究生们合作完成了79个设计作品。本书收录了12个地点在中国的设计作品。与研究生们加班熬夜赶竞赛的鲜活场景时常浮现在我的眼前，已经成为我的美好回忆。在此，感谢研究生们的辛勤付出。
本书的最后有3个附录，分别是朱文一著《线上建筑学理论》（2023）、《线上建筑》（2013-2023）、《线上建筑》（2023-2024）3本书的简介。它们展示了我提出线上建筑及其理论的形成过程。
追求无止境。这本《朱文一线上建筑中国》（2013-2024）排版完成时，也是《朱文一线上建筑亚洲》编辑和排版的启动之日。

SELF-PREFACE OF ZHU WENYI ONLINE+ARCHITECTURE IN CHINA (2013-2024)

First of all, let's talk about the title of this book, ZHU Wenyi Online+Architecture in China. Considering that there are different understandings of Online Architecture in the professional field, especially Online Architecture in the English context ( Online Framework in Chinese), it is already a common term in the computer field. I have discussed this topic clearly in the preface to the book Online+Architecture (2023-2024), so I will not repeat it here. The online architecture series I started from a macro perspective uses ZHU Wenyi Online+Architecture, indicating that this is just my understanding of Online Architecture, which belongs to a personal opinion. In this way, we hope to avoid ambiguity and misinterpretation of the word Online Architecture. By the way, the Chinese word Architecture can also be used as a verb.
The book ZHU Wenyi Online Architecture in China includes a total of 71 conceptual design works of architecture, city and landscape completed from 2013 to 2024. The works span 10 years and are broadly divided into 3 periods:
Phase 3 includes 52 designs completed between July 2023 and August 2024. They cover 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In June 2023, after I retired, I started to virtually explore the Architecture, City, Landscape in China online. Compared with travel in the real places, the online tour has experienced the Tons of information of videos, pictures and texts, which is equally fascinating; I am immersed in the new experience of discovering and experiencing, conceiving and designing and drwaing the identities of different places online. Alone conceived and drwainged design work day in and day out takes up almost all of your retirement life. This period to this day, I call myself an Online Architect.
Phase 2 includes 7 design works completed between 2021 and May 2023. Since 2021, I have stopped recruiting graduate students, and this is how I began my solo experience of participating in international design competitions. During this period, I called myself an Architecture Competitor. The places of a total of 82 entries were located in Europe and the United States in a three-year period, and 74 of them were individual entries that I completed as an Architecture Competitor, including 7 international competition designs in China included in this book. It should be noted that the proposal I submitted for the Smart Roof is the design of the Chinese Pavilion for the Bcome 3rd International Concept Competition for the National Pavilion at the Busan 2030 World Expo held in South Korea in 2022. Despite the location in South Korea, this is the design of the China's Pavilion, so it still falls under the category of online architecture in China.
Phase 1 includes 12 design works completed between 2013 and 2020. This is the design work completed by ZHUWENYI Atelier, which I chair, most of which are international design competition proposals, mostly in Europe and the United States. During this period, I collaborated with graduate students on 79 design projects. This book features design works from 12 locations in China. The vivid scenes of working hard to participate in competitions with graduate students often come to my eyes and have become fond memories for me. I would like to thank the graduate students for their hard work.
At the end of the book, there are three appendices, which are the introductions of three books: A Theory of Online Architecture (2023), Online Architecture (2013-2023), and Online Architecture (2023-2024) by ZHU Wenyi. They show how I came up with the theory of Online Architecture.
It never stops. When the typesetting of ZHU Wenyi Online+Architecture in China (2013-2024) was completed, it was also the day of the editing and typesetting of ZHU Wenyi Online+ Architecture in Asia.
